May and June are graduation party season. We deliver more inflatables for grad parties in those two months than for anything except summer birthday weekends. The picks that work for grad parties are different from what works for a 7-year-old's birthday — here's what we actually recommend.
High school grad parties: more interactive, less bouncy
By 17 or 18, a traditional bounce house feels too young. The picks that consistently land for high school grads:
- Mechanical Bull — the photo magnet of any grad party; everyone wants to try, everyone wants to film their friends
- Axe Throwing (single or dual lane) — competitive, photographable, distinctly grown-up
- Bungee Run — friends racing each other is graduation-party gold
- Big Wave Dual Lane Water Slide — for outdoor June parties, still works for this age
- Cliffhanger or large obstacle course — friend group challenges
College grad parties: same picks, bigger crowds
College grad parties tend to skew older (21+) with friends and family mixed. The Mechanical Bull still wins, axe throwing wins harder, and you can add carnival games as a secondary station so the older guests have something to do while not in the bull queue.
Insurance + COI for backyard parties
Even at a private home, we provide a Certificate of Insurance at no charge. If the party is at a country club, restaurant, or rented venue, the venue often requires one — request it when you book and we'll have it on file 24 hours later.
Pairing inflatables with the party flow
The mistake we see most often: people book the biggest, flashiest inflatable thinking it'll be the centerpiece for 5 hours. In reality, the bull or axe throwing crushes for the first 90 minutes, then guests want to socialize and eat. Pair the headline activity with carnival games or a photo booth backdrop so the energy stays consistent.

- 8+ weeks out: book the Mechanical Bull and axe throwing for May/June dates — they go fast
- 4–6 weeks out: lock in any combo packages and add carnival games
